Makers can be anything from a hat makers, to a robot maker or a coder and we invite them all to be part of the fourth Maker Faire Adelaide.”"

Maker Faire Adelaide returns for the fourth Faire and the day is set to be the best yet, full of inspiration, information, connection and entertainment for makers and thousands of attendees. The Faire is a family-friendly environment celebrating technology, education, science, arts, crafts, engineering, food, sustainability – and more.
We are inviting local makers and makers from all over Australia to be part of of the biggest event of its type in Australia. Makers can bring their inventions, innovations, creativity, craft, technology – in fact anything they’ve made and want to show off.
Maker Faires are independently organised events produced around the world, communities of makers work to produce Faires that celebrate and inspire makers of all ages.
Adelaide is part of the global Maker Movement and joins makers from around the world in cities such as New York, Paris, Austin, Cairo and Vienna to show off Australian makers’ skills, entrepreneurship, ingenuity and creativity.
For the third year the Faire will return to Tonsley’s awe-inspiring Main Assembly Building of the former Mitsubishi car production facility – eight hectares of space under one roof.
