A 24-hour health and wellness centre will open at Tonsley this spring, anchoring a new commercial hub at the junction of the precinct’s innovation and residential districts.
Level Eleven, a new health and wellness brand launched this week, will open a 2,500 square-metre club within Otello’s three-storey commercial precinct on MAB Circuit.
The first of three clubs to launch in Adelaide this year, Level Eleven Tonsley will include five studios, a gym floor, strength and conditioning areas, HYROX training, reformer Pilates, hot mat Pilates, yoga, breathwork, magnesium hot and cold pools, Finnish and infrared saunas, a running room and premium recovery spaces.
Andy Nicolson, Renewal SA’s Senior Development Manager overseeing Tonsley Innovation District, said Level Eleven would support amenity within the precinct.
More than 150 businesses operate at Tonsley Innovation District, employing more than 2000 people, while Flinders University, TAFE SA and Tonsley Technical College host about 8500 students.
The residential precinct, Tonsley Village, led by PEET in partnership with Renewal SA, is edging towards the delivery of over 950 townhouses and apartments.
The three Level Eleven locations, Tonsley, Kent Town and Bowden, have been developed through a new partnership between Otello Group and wellness entrepreneur and V2FIT co-Founder Dan Peters.
Mr Peters said he had been watching a shift in traditional fitness over the past decade.
“People are looking for places that improve the way they feel physically, mentally and socially,” he said.
“They want connection, energy, recovery and environments that genuinely inspire them to become better versions of themselves.”
Otello Founder and Director Daniel Harris said the facilities reflected a shift in how developments supported quality of life and community wellbeing.
“We believe wellness should no longer be treated as an afterthought within developments, it should be embedded into the way people live every day,” Mr Harris said.
Otello is working with Renewal SA to deliver Muse at Bowden, which includes 36 apartments, a full-service restaurant and short-stay accommodation, as well as the neighbouring FLOWE development.
FLOWE will be home to Level Eleven’s third location, beneath more than 100 apartments overlooking Bowden Park.
Founding memberships for Level Eleven will launch towards the end of July, with early registrations of interest now open at level-eleven.com.au.
