Renewal SA Works Program: Scoreboard Construction Live Training Site Program

Renewal SA’s Works Program proudly supports training and employment initiatives for local people.

The Scoreboard Construction Live Training Site Program is being delivered at Tonsley in partnership with ATEC, the Morphett Vale Football Club and WorkReady.

Specifically targeting local people within the Cities of Marion, Mitcham, Onkaparinga and Holdfast Bay and the broader southern suburbs, this Program will:

  • deliver a Certificate II in Construction [CPC20112]
  • deliver tickets and /or experience in:
    • White Card – Work Safely in the Construction Industry [CPCCOHS1001A]
    • Work safely at heights [CPCCCM2010B]
  • deliver skills focused on carpentry, concreting, scaffolding, working at heights, levelling and more
  • provide practical “hands on” experience working on a real live project within the community while developing new skills to improve future job opportunities.

Participants are required to supply their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The Program will commence on Monday 23 May 2016 and run Monday to Thursday for ten weeks.

5 Refinery Road, Lonsdale.

Cost

Subsidised through the WorkReady Jobs First STL Projects 2015-2016.
