Renewal SA Works Program: Southern Health Pathways Pre-employment Program

Renewal SA’s Works Program proudly supports training and employment initiatives for local people.

The Southern Health Pathways Pre-employment Program is being delivered at Tonsley in partnership with EQUALS International, Southern Cross Care and WorkReady.

Specifically targeting local people within the Cities of Marion, Mitcham, Onkaparinga and Holdfast Bay and the broader Southern suburbs.

Program participants need to be physically fit to carry out the duties of a Care Worker. It is a mandatory requirement for participants of this Program to have or obtain an Aged Care National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 12 months).

This Program will:

  • deliver a Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30212)
  • provide real employment pathways within the Aged Care sector
  • deliver industry specific accredited training, designed in partnership with local facilities
  • provide guaranteed work placements for those participants who meet the selection criteria.

This program will commence on Monday, 23 May 2016 and runs full time for ten weeks.

This is a 2.5 hour information session.

Cost

Jobs First Employment Project eligibility and subsidy criteria apply.
