Southern Health Pathways Aged Care Pre-employment Program

The Renewal SA Works Program at Tonsley in partnership with EQUALS International, Southern Cross Care, Interskills Training and WorkReady is delivering the Southern Health Pathways Aged Care Pre-employment Program offering real employment opportunities with Southern Cross Care and other aged care facilities.

What participants can achieve

• Certificate III in Individual Support [CHC33015]
• Guaranteed work experience placements and employment opportunities with Southern Cross Care and other aged care facilities.

Participants we are looking for

Program participants need to:

• live in and around the wider southern suburbs
• be physically able to carry out the duties of an Aged Care Worker
• commit to a 16-week training program which includes a 4-week full-time work experience placement
• be flexible with working hours
• be eligible to obtain an Aged Care National Police clearance
• have a current SA driver’s licence and own method of transport.

Participants will only be selected for the Program after attending the Information and Selection Session.

Program Details

When

From 31 October 2016 for 16 weeks.

Runs Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am to 3pm, and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.

Cost

Subsidised through the WorkReady Jobs First STL Projects 2016-2017.
