Tonsley Connections December event

Tonsley Innovation District’s Tonsley Connections event was held last Thursday evening, 15 December in the MAB, Central Forest.

It was an opportunity to wrap up 2022, get-together and celebrate the festive season!

Tonsley Connections, is a wonderful opportunity for members of the rapidly growing Tonsley Community to get together and network amongst fellow peers and to get the latest details about what’s next for the Tonsley Innovation District.

At Thursday’s event we had a fantastic turn out with over 150 people attending, one of our best yet!

Pre-event kicked off with the judging of the Gingerbread House Engineering Challenge, where entries were on display at the Tonsley Pod.  Check out these incredible entries below!

A special thanks to Susanne Sahlos from Micro-X who did an amazing job Coordinating the Challenge from behind the scenes, our Renewal SA Works Program for their contribution toward the Gingerbread Houses and to our three judges: Nina Welti; Cheryl Bridgar; and John Marshman for their time.

A big congratulations to the first place winners – Pauline Fowler and Cheryl Phillips from Ziptrak.

Third place – Flinders CSE and TAFE SA

Finally, well done to all the entrants who clearly put in so much effort.

As we wind up the year, we would like to wish our Tonsley community a happy festive season and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back at Tonsley for a successful 2023.

The next Tonsley Connections is due to be held in the first quarter of 2023.  Stay tuned, details will be announced on our on our website.
