ZEISS Customer Enablement is a digital solutions provider, operating within the Vision Care segment of ZEISS – a leading global manufacturer of eyeglass lenses and ophthalmic instruments. The Customer Enablement group creates tailored business and technology solutions and customised spectacle lens designs for an array of international customers, ranging from some of the world’s largest retailers in the established markets to small family businesses in the developing markets of Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

Formed in 2007, to expand the commercialisation of ZEISS’ patented technologies, this international business group, headquartered in Tonsley, comprises of a team of specialist technical consultants who package high tech business solutions for customers around the world.

The business is powered by a bespoke cloud-based web capability. This web service creates fully customisable lens designs and detailed optical calculations for global customers who produce lenses using this know-how. In addition, customers can access ZEISS’ specialist support and know-how in the area of coatings and other production capability.
