A unique development in the City of Marion, the former Mitsubishi Motors assembly plant at Tonsley is in the process of being completely redeveloped as an integrated employment, education and residential precinct by Renewal SA.

Please note this is a one hour walking tour and may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Parking can be limited; please allow time for this. There is a drop off zone located near Gate One where attendees can hop off whilst the driver finds a park. Parking is available in Car Park 4.
The maximum number of participants for each tour is 15 people. Tours require a minimum of 5 registrations to proceed. Should you wish to make a large group booking, please contact City of Marion directly at [email protected].

The tours commence from and finish at Gate 1 of the Main Assembly Building (MAB) at Tonsley, located at A7 MAB, 6 MAB Eastern Promenade.

These tours are generously provided free-of-charge by the City of Marion
You should bring comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle. The tour is conducted under the Main Assembly Building (MAB) which is a large covered roof and so should it rain you will not get wet, however you are encouraged to dress for the weather.

The 60-minute tour involves regular walking and may be difficult for people with mobility issues. Attendees should feel confident in being able to walk along sealed flat surfaces for up to one-hour.
