Coffee shop a funky addition to Tonsley

Popular Adelaide café chain Funk Coffee+Food is opening its new store at Tonsley later this month, providing local workers and students their coffee fix as well as a place for meeting over lunch.

Funk Coffee+Food Director Arthur Damaskos says he and his colleagues look forward to forming new relationships with the businesses and educational institutions at Tonsley.

“We consider the Tonsley development to be a great opportunity for the expansion of our business model in Adelaide, and we’re proud to be part of this development for the state,” Arthur said.

“We’re very excited about the concept and design of the store that has been carefully coordinated with architects Woods Bagot to achieve the look of a Chrysler vehicle, reflective of the site’s historical past as a Chrysler assembly line.”

Catering will be available from the cafe when the store is open.
